a group exhibit

Wayne Spradley of Pell City, Alabama, is an internationally acclaimed landscape artist, who is especially known for his atmospheric and beautiful watercolors. His prowess is exemplified by over 300 major art awards. He has exhibited in the Waterfowl Festival, Eason, MD and Southeastern Wildlife Exposition in Charleston, SC, World Wildlife Exhibition in Gatlinburg, TN among many others. A frequent participant of the Arts for the Parks competition in Jackson Hole, WY, he was selected as one of the top 100 artists in the United States by the US Department of the Interiors. He was a winner of the Alabama Duck Stamp and his works was selected for display in the Alabama State House and Senate Floors. Mr. Spradley’s paintings are in major corporate, private and museum collections in the US and abroad. This exhibit includes some of Mr. Spradley’s work as well as that of local artists who are part of his studio.

About the Exhibit:
Heritage Hall houses a significant collection of historical Talladega city and county artifacts and photographs. This exhibit features a collection of photographs and impact statements of individuals, who contributed significantly to the development and cultural development of the area during the 18th and 19th century. Many of them went on to have a state-wide and national impact.
