Gees Bend Workshop at Heritage Hall 2022

Heritage Hall hosted a Gee’s Bend hands-on quilting workshops this past May. Ms Mary Ann Pettway, Head of the Gee’s Bend Quilters Collective and Ms China Pettway, hosted the workshop. 18 participants from the regional area attended the workshop. The workshop was subsidized in part by the Heritage Hall Arts Enrichment fund, which is supported by income from the holiday market and donations to the museum. We try to subsidize all workshops and art classes in order to keep costs to participants and the community as affordable as possible.

It is always a treat to have the ladies at Heritage Hall, we look forward to scheduling another workshop in 2023.
