Christy Rae Emfinger is a 42 year old, self taught, intuitive artist from Sylacauga, AL. Her art style can be described as Expressionism, dark and whimsical, with touches of surrealism. She was born with a creative spirit & began painting seriously at age 19. Her approach to creating art is to feel & connect with her creative intuition. She is inspired by music, dreams, life, death, love, empathy, pain, despair, nature & wild things. Her favorite mediums are ink, charcoal, soft pastels, acrylic, watercolor, oil, and dry wall mud. She also enjoys macro photography.
