Greta and Wayne Waites

Wayne and Greta are locals of Talladega and met through their love of Woodworking. Wayne learned woodworking at an early age from his grandfather.

Together, the couple enjoys building furniture, wood turning, mortise and tendon jointery. They also love to bring out the beauty of the wood through wood carving. Working on the fun and unusual is the best!

A more recent discovery for them is the use of resins with wood to create beautiful and functional pieces. Many of the pieces they have created make “useless” pieces of wood functional and beautiful.
