Sandra Holm
Sandra Holm is a wife, mother/grandmother, teacher, and award-winning artist. She holds a BFA degree from the University of Montevallo and a Masters in Education from UAB.
Holm began her career as an Artist In Residence with the Alabama Council of Arts Humanities Grants in the Talladega County School System.
She is a retired teacher after 31 years with the Talladega County Board of Education. Her years in teaching included Gifted and Talented Education and Elementary Art. Holm enjoys exploring a variety of art media. Her work mainly consists of drawings in pencil, color pencil and ink, oils paintings, Plein Air paintings, hand build pottery and collage/mixed media works.
Sandra was the leader of the Heritage Hall Art in the Schools program in the Talladega City Elementary Schools for many years and continues to teach at Arts Camp program every summer. Sandra is also a member of the APAA – Alabama Plein Air Artists.
